Steven Woodward is CEO of Cloud Perspectives (www.cloud-perspectives.com) located in Ottawa, Ontario. Cloud Perspectives provides neutral third party perspectives to clarify cloud computing opportunities and establish realistic roadmaps.
Steven is helping define cloud computing strategies on the international stage. He is a key adviser to Shared Services Canada, Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada and the National Institute of Standards for Technology (NIST) under the US Department of Commerce working on secured cloud federation and brokering. Since 2014 he has been a director with the Cloud Security Alliance Canadian Chapter. Authoring and contributing to many of the cloud computing frameworks (ITU-T, TM Forum, OMG-CSCC, Canadian Cloud Council, ISO, IEEE, NIST, IFPUG) and guides he is a frequently requested speaker and instructor.
In addition to international cloud initiatives he is an member of the Shared Services Canada Architecture Advisory Framework.
Author of “Cloud Computing Solution Measurement” as part of “The IFPUG Guide for IT and Software Measurement” published 2012.
Past director at IFPUG (ISO/IEC 20926) and former chair of the “New Environments Committee”, helping mature software metrics internationally. Honored to be recognized as an IFPUG CFPS “Fellow” (>20 year certified), also recognized as a Certified Software Quality Analyst since 1995 by the Quality Assurance Institute. Steven also has a Certificate of Cloud Computing Security Knowledge (CCSK) recognized by the Cloud Security Alliance.
